How do I get around?
Most of the site is open to anonymous users. Some folders of the site are restricted logged in members. All members of this site must have a username and password.
There are many ways to navigate around. Clicking most anything will take you there. You can always use your browsers "Back Button" or "Back Arrow".
Left Navigation
Holds the main bulk of Folders. Most folders are viewable by anyone but to view certain folders you must be logged in as a member. To become a member contact a member of the NPPP unit. A list of recent news topics are displayed here. A 'more' link at the end of this list will show a more comprehensive list of news items.
Top Navigation (also called Navigation Tabs)
Area consists of three layers:
The top set of tabs contain the following folders with the titles – “home” and “contacts”.
The breadcrumb links below the gray navigation bar shows a trail of links from the top level to the point you are now. In the above picture, you are on the "home" page.
Personal Bar (username, log out)
The gray navigation bar below the main menu tells you whether you are logged in and has links to your personal folder and log out.
Site Actions (site map, accessibility, contact, search)
You can view site map, accessibility info, open a page to send an email to a predesignated email address or use the search facility to search the site.
Right Navigation
Holds information about Previous and Upcoming Events.
Content Area
You can click on a folder in the navigation to view its subfolders and documents or click on a document to view the full document.
Use the forward / back arrows on the toolbar to navigate. You can also use the links at “you are here” to go back to a parent folder. Clicking on the x on the top right and corner causes the site to be shut down.
Searching for content
There are two ways to search for content. At the top of the site there is a search box. This box only allows you to search for keywords in the content of the site. You can narrow down the search results by using the advanced search functionality. This is accessible by clicking on the search button at the top of page. You will be redirected to the search screen. Click on the Advanced Search link.
In the Advanced search form you are able to query content by: title, keywords, description, review state, creation, date, content type and even author.
How do I give feedback?
To provide feedback you can click on the contact link at the top right of the site. There is also a link to the E-Procurement mailbox at the bottom of the site. This will open a new mail message in your default email application.
